We hope to bring people together who love podcasting in a safe space where they can collaborate and share ideas.

What is the Chatterbox Club?
Ashleigh King is Creative Director, Founder of Flamingo Heights and host of the ‘Nurture Your Zest’ podcast.
Joel Lowson is a Commercial Videographer of his own company ‘Joel Lowson Videography’ and Technical Director at Flamingo Heights.
During our sessions, you will…
Meet and make new friends, learn tips and tricks to help you succeed as a podcaster and identify opportunities to collaborate with fellow podcasters, from guest swaps on each other’s shows to sharing skills or resources.
The Chatterbox Club is hosted at Flamingo Heights Studio on:
the last Monday of every month from 4pm-6pm and
the last Wednesday from 10am-12pm

We are working with our landlord to make our building more accessible, although there are some things which are currently out of our control. Whilst we have a lift, and a disabled toilet, we are not fully confident that we can call ourselves ‘accessible’ at this time and we want to be open about that.
We are applying for funding to make some adjustments to our building and saving to work with an accessibility consultant, although as a small business all of these things take time.If you have any accessibility requirements, please do reach out and we will be happy to talk through these with you honestly, and do our best to make you feel comfortable in our space. If you are not able to access our building, we do have some activities which we offer virtually, via Zoom.

We know that there are so many EXCITING networking and training events happening across our region and it can be tricky competing with other event organisers for an audience.
At the same time, we are a very busy studio, and we need to prioritise our clients. We tend to be quietest on a Monday afternoon and a Wednesday morning, which is why we are holding our meet-up groups on these days and times.
We know that some people may like to attend during the evening, or on a weekend, however that means we have to pay for additional staff time, and heating costs.
These are the best dates for us at this time.

We put a lot of thought and effort into our events, and it’s important that we are able to cover our time.
Working with the Flamingo Heights Team in a one-to-one setting would be expensive, and this is a way that we can help people with their podcasts in an affordable way.
